JH Honor Band
Launch the media gallery 1 playerOn Saturday, January 21st, four Ed-Co junior high students attended the Marion Honor Band at Vernon Middle School in Marion, Iowa.
Abbie Sullivan and Sophia Wilson, both clarinet, were accepted into the Seventh Grade Honor Band.
Carson Kirby, trumpet and Hunter Thompson, trombone were accepted into the Eighth Grade Honor Band.
All four students got to work closely with their directors for the day, Nathan Sletten and Jayson Gerth, the seventh and eighth grade directors respectively. Having never met before, each band rehearsed for five hours before putting on a fantastic concert that evening.
