I began my teaching career in 1988 as a science teacher for 17 years then took time off to be a stay at home mom and substitute teacher for 15 years.  I have returned to the classroom as a special education teacher and look forward to providing specially designed instruction in reading, writing, math and social skills to students in grades 7-12.  My husband and I recently moved to rural Dundee with our three children ages 12, 14 and 16. My educational background includes a BA from Wartburg College, MS from the University of Iowa and special education endorsement of Instructional Strategist I from Northwestern College.
