Miss Prestemon's Home Page

Hi! My name is Emily Prestemon and this is my fifth year teaching kindergarten at Ed-Co. I love teaching! I graduated from Iowa State University in 2010, and student taught in New Zealand for 8 weeks. I greatly enjoyed my experience overseas. I encountered a lot of cultural differences, but ultimately found that children are the same everywhere! They all love to learn, laugh, and enjoy life. This is what makes me so passionate about teaching children. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, exercising, and spending time with family and friends. I am training for my first marathon in October, so that has been keeping me very busy! I also love to travel, and have been to Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, France, Italy, Belgium, and England. New Zealand was definitely my favorite, because of my special experience student teaching. Please feel free to visit my classroom anytime!
