Mrs. Askeland

Hello!  My name is Dawn Askeland and I am the Preschool Teacher at Ed-Co.  This is m^{y 9th} year teaching at Ed-Co, but I have been teaching in an early childhood setting for 19 years.  I graduated from Iowa State University (Go Cyclones!!) with a BS degree in Early Childhood Education.

I live in Edgewood with my husband, Troy, and two children, Andrew (college freshman) and Kelsi (10th grade).  We stay busy following all of their activities in school and church and love every minute of it!

I am extremely passionate about early childhood and I love my job!   I know how important an appropriate preschool program is to the future success of children and consider it my challenge each and every day to provide such a program!
