Elementary Patriot's Day Cemermony

Fourth grade planned an elementary school wide flag raising ceremony on Tuesday, September 11, Patriot's Day, again this year. This is a very important day in history to learn about and remember. We raised the flag, said The Pledge all together, and then the 4th, 5th, and 6th graders lead us in singing the National Anthem. Fourth graders have the important responsibility to care for our flags at the beginning and end of each day. This week they will continue to learn proper care and treatment of our flags, what the meaning of the Pledge is and why we say it.
