Andrea Knipper volunteers because she believe that parental involvement has a significant impact on a child's success in the classroom. "I have seen it firsthand, as an active substitute teacher and former teacher in the district. As the saying goes "it takes a village to raise a child." That being said, it is essential to work as a team (parents, teachers, students, support staff, administration, school board...) and have the best interest of our students and the future of our district.This involves open and honest communication as well as working with each other to provide a quality education. My interest in my children's education teaches them that education is a priority. I can reflect about the teachers and coaches who have had an ongoing impact on who I am today. I want my children to be able to have those similar experiences here at Ed-Co."

"It has been wonderful to see Karter in Mrs. Tegeler's clas and Kiptyn in Mrs. Askeland's class in action.  It's fun to see their interactions with peers and teachers. It is rewarding to see all of the students excited about learning and the progress that is being made. It is comforting to know that my children are in good hands and have been blessed with the best teachers."
